Sky TV in Spain
It has been possible to receive Sky TV in Spain since the launch of the Astra 2A and 2B satellites 6 years ago. As illustrated on the diagram opposite, the coast of southern Spain is on the edge of the satellite beam. This means to ensure you receive a picture quality comparable to the UK it is necessary to use a much larger 1.3 metre dish and the best quality components available in the entire system.
The dish needs to be expertly aligned with the correct equipment and securely mounted, as the slightest shift could result in quality loss or complete picture loss. The strength and quality of the actual signal is also important to combat adverse weather conditions such as dense cloud or rain. All our installations fulfil or exceed these requirements. We are confident our systems will prove to be a sound investment both now and into the foreseeable future.
If you live in an a community setting and permission has been refused for your satellite dish, it will help to kindly remind the president that you have a legal right to install a system under the 'freedom of information act' under EU law.
